Discover the elegance and flow of London ballroom skating in a relaxed, guided workshop designed for those wanting to experience the thrill of skating with a partner.
Over six weeks, you’ll learn the core techniques that define ballroom skating, including the foundation flow; the STL heel toe stride, the U-formation, smooth transitions, spins, and turns. Each session builds progressively, helping you develop confidence, control, and musical flow .
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to confidently perform a complete ballroom skating sequence, smoothly linking transitions, spins, and turns while returning seamlessly to the U-formation flow.
Whether you're looking to improve your skating style, build flow with a partner, or learn authentic ballroom skating moves, this workshop will give you the skills and structure to progress.
Outcome:
✔ Master the fundamentals of ballroom skating
✔ Learn flowing sequences
✔ Gain confidence skating smoothly with a partner
Skill Level: Must be able to skate forward confidently with good balance and T-stop to slow down. Confidence rolling backward would be useful.
